Foodbuy, a leading group procurement organisation, has been shortlisted as a finalist at the Footprint Sustainable Procurement Awards 2020 in the category of Social Impact and Diversity.
The Social Impact and Diversity award celebrates businesses that have delivered a step change to profitability, whilst also delivering meaningful social impact.
Organised by the Footprint Media Group, the Footprint Awards are the first initiative to honour the achievements of companies in the area of sustainability and responsible business practice in the out of home sector and its supply chain.
We’ve been shortlisted for our work as the first company in the food and drinks sector to join the Buy Social Corporate Challenge, a ground-breaking initiative that sees corporate partners come together with a collective ambition to spend more with social enterprises. In 2019 alone, We’ve spent more than £2million with over 20 different social enterprises - and this is just the beginning for us.
