As Finance Director, Leah leads our Foodbuy Finance team with a focus on a strong financial control environment, process efficiency and ‘critical friend’ business partnering. In addition to this, Leah and the Finance team have a strong link into Sectors and Compass Group teams as a core part of ways of working.
The team are also fully involved in supporting the Foodbuy and Compass UK&I relationships with clients and suppliers. Leah and her team ensure that we are continually driving for business excellence, maximising the objectives of both our business but also to meet the needs of our customers, suppliers and clients.
Leah has a wealth of experience in both Commercial and Central functions, with a career spanning FMCG and Supermarkets Retail. Her roles have included Commercial business partnering in Foods and non-Foods Trading, Supply Chain, Finance Operations, Marketing & Loyalty and General merchandise as well as leading on project work embedding acquisitions and of course core Finance delivery objectives.
A recent joiner into the Foodbuy team, Leah brings her experience as a Finance leader and professional to help make step changes that will unlock opportunities alongside the Exec Team. She is passionate about development and nurturing talent and is a keen advocate and ally for D&I.
Outside of work, Leah is a qualified yoga teacher and enjoys live music, travelling and cooking world cuisine.
