We are proud to celebrate an outstanding showcase of culinary talent at this year’s International Salon Culinaire, held as part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week during the HRC Show at ExCeL London. Established in 1902, it has a rich history of being one the world’s top chef competitions, with a reputation for launching emerging culinary talents into the UK hospitality industry.
International Salon Culinaire offers chefs a platform to demonstrate exceptional gastronomic skill and creativity. The three-day event welcomed more than 1,000 competitors and over 100 judges, bringing together some of the very best talent the hospitality industry has to offer.
We were especially delighted to announce that Foodbuy Culinary Specialist Andy Chan secured a Gold Award in the Live Theatre Lamb Challenge 2026. The Live Theatre competition is the ultimate stage for culinary innovation, highlighting specialist ingredients under competitive conditions. Andy’s achievement reflects the skill, passion and commitment to culinary excellence that sits at the heart of Foodbuy Group.
We are incredibly proud to be part of an industry that continues to invest in its people, skills and innovation. Events like Salon Culinaire underline the importance of collaboration across hospitality – from suppliers and the wider supply chain through to chefs working in professional kitchens.
